LoSt In SmOaK

Contributed by MysticFireFairy on Thursday, 17th November 2005 @ 12:30:50 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Someday she'd be great,
she told herself,
people'd love her,
her picture on their shelf!

that was then...
this is now,
she got so mixed up,
but she doesnt know how.

she's far from great,
she's completely depressed,
she got involved with drugs,
and is completely obsessed.

Why couldnt she stop,
when she wanted too.
They told her the stories,
were completely untrue.

She was getting sick,
throwing up everywhere,
here teeth messed up,
not to mention her hair.

She felt so bad,
herself she did hate,
she tried to stop,
but it was too late.

The room was packed,
everyone cried,
wished they were dreaming,
the day that she died...

A sad but insightful poem you've opened your thoughts as wel as your heart, i can
hear your voice of sorrow calling from your soul, a deep emotional experience that only time may heal, beautiful heart touching write.

I was once mixed up in the horrible world of drugs. This was great. Like the four line style, it's my favourite. Jenn xx
