The river mist
Cannot hide
The depths of poison
Built up in time
Ghost fish
Swim up stream
Against the current
Of eternity
The river mist
Colours crimson blood
Naive silver
Disguises sins,
A generation
Of wrong choices,
A society
Stained by
The death of millions…

Yes, you are ever so correct, this poem is an environmental write. We must all work to clean up the environment because the poisons from Industries dropped into the river, have an accumalated effect of destroying our future generation of life.
This is an excellent and a wonderful insightful poem, thank you for creating it and posting it. Raquel Leah |
