Attacking me with your smile
Pulling me away from my life
Taking me away from myself
Leading me to an endless abyss
Where nothing can hurt
And yet nothing can heal
Everything is normal
But yet so unreal
Numbing consumes me
No pain
Just regret
Sparkling eyes filled with light
Is that what keeps me up at night?
The tears that I shed?
Or the fact that you fled
Without ever going away?
You ripped me into fragments
My soul and my heart
So that we would never part
And now I'm sitting here
Alone in the darkness I've created
From the beginning it was fated
I fell into the pieces
Of your broken heart
