All Together We Fall Apart

Separated into groups
We forget who we are
We don’t recognize the eyes
That are watching us
Through the mirrors

We become what others think
We turn into the stereotypes
That we are surrounded by
We lose ourselves
To the generic terms
That our generation
Has now created

We morph into what we can’t identify
We give into the silent demise
We don’t stand up
Because we have nothing to say
Maybe we’ll break through another day

And with that final thought
We are just another in the lot
Descending into the ground
We make the mountain

  • Hrm, I really like this one!

    The flow was great, and some of the metaphors were pretty original.

    I didn't really find any awkward wording myself, though.
