I’ve been stuck for too long,
In my prison of pain.
I’m stuck here, can’t move here.
Can’t take this, don’t need this.
Not anymore.
I need to get a grip.
To let the ghosts go.
They don’t need me.
Any more than I need them.
I need to break free,
Of these chains of grief.
There has to be a way.
I’m scared to be hurt again.
Scared to feel loss.
Though I’ve lost it all,
It seems,
I haven’t.
Not really.
The truth is I have it all.
Except you.

This is a very heartfelt poem by many and i certainly know how this feels... I have all that i could really ever want but i cant shake free of my demons from my childhood... thank you for having the strength to share this with us.... i wish u the best of luck in the future
