Painful Air

Contributed by b_rand on Wednesday, 16th November 2005 @ 12:27:44 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Baby, you're gone but you're still on my mind
I'm in your past but can't leave you behind
I always knew my life would end when you leave
And now that you're gone, I don't want to breathe

And skyward glances at night are all dark
The lights have all faded, I can't find the stars
And with their departure, my hope's left the earth
Should I call you for comfort, things only get worse

So now I just sit here in darkness alone
The temperature dropping, my body feels cold
My emotions are drained and my energy's gone
I don't have the strength and don't want to go on

This is very expressive and despairing. Good write. I'm sorry you just got dumped but maybe you are better off with out this person. All things happen for a reason, I believe that anyway. Blessed be.
