Vampire’s Revenge

Contributed by coral on Tuesday, 15th November 2005 @ 04:41:57 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Vampire’s Revenge

Tonight he seeks cold revenge
The death of his dark bride
He comes to avenge

For every drop she bled
Shall a hundred fold
Be shed

For the stake driven into her heart
Their mortal bodies
Be picked apart

With seething rage
He anticipates
The start of his bloodiest rampage

Her scent lingers on him
She will be honored this night
By their agony as they scream

Tonight he will find peace
The death of their souls
Will grant his bride release

Personally, I'm not that impressed! In order to write a dark poem about a vampire you need to go deeper...be it more lengthy or not. Not saying it's the worst poem i've ever read, just a little constructive critizism from a big fan of vampire's.
