Once I used to like my life.
Once I never used to fight.
Your pretty face just did it for me.
Content with your love,
I was once free.
In my life, your all I ever wanted.
Your pretty face was all I ever needed.
I loved and had my heart torn in two.
But I stayed here waiting.
Cause all I ever wanted my love was you.
Once the sun used to shine on my face.
Love the God I used to embrace.
but now,
What have I to show for my faith?

Darn this is a feeling that is expressed with a true and oh so very real message. At some points of our lives we may or may not feel this. But when you do it is a heart wrenching experience, an epiphany of sorts. i Understand from one whose wound is still deep and fresh. A Truly amazing and wonderful peice of writing, but i've come to see this in most if not all of this authors artful writing. A unique mind and deep vocabulary this truly is an awesome piece. Thank you for sharing it !!!
