Days Betrayed

Contributed by Vermilion on Tuesday, 15th November 2005 @ 11:34:27 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

This is time for waking
Time for the forsaking

Remember the changed names
Remember the days before She saved you

Days cold, days disintegrated
Days old, days dissipated
Days sold, days silver-plated
Days told, days never seeming to end

This is time for leaving
Time for the believing

Judgement Day looms ahead
Thank Her for finally making you see

This is time for stalking
Never time for talking

Take Her hand into yours
She was by your side in those days..

Days cold, days decayed
Days old, days betrayed
Days sold, days getting laid
Days told, in the beginning of the end

This time let's run free
Into pits of ecstacy

Forget about tomorrow
She'll run with you anyway

This time let's run away
Tomorrow is another day

We've got time left to make love
She has saved you now

Days cold, days untrue
Days old, days you knew
Days sold, those days are through
Days told, those days must end

Days cold, days disintegrated
Days old, days dissipated
Days sold, days silver-plated
Days told, days never seeming to end

Days never seeming to end
Days in the beginning of the end
Days that just must end

Let's end them now while we still have a chance
