Before I put you to bed,
and cast your dream away,
on your pillow I rest your head,
for tomorrows a brand new day,
Before you fall asleep at night,
I say a prayer for you,
for God to hold you very tight,
and bless the both of you,
Before you close those tierd eyes,
and rest your racing mind,
I soon begun to realize,
the world around,isn't too kind,
So I say a prayer,So God will hear,
to keep my boys safe from harm,
my boys will have it tough,I fear,
So Hug them with your loving arms,
When I kiss you both goodnight,
as a mother I can see,
charming faces full of fright,
of the future that will be,
Slumber softly,dream of happy things,
cast your worries away,
touch the feather of an angels wings,
tomorrows a brand new day,
As you lay there sleeping,I look at you,
so peaceful,with a smile,
so limp, lifeless and helpless too,
So I sit there watching a while,
So when I tuck you both in bed,
and rocking you to a gentle sleep,
this is whats going through my head,
Blessings for you to keep!

Oh how beautiful....this needs to be framed in their rooms with a beautiful picture of you and them together..how beautiful you write girl....your boys are so lucky to have such a loving mother ....you always write beautiful....
