The air was thin
the night was cool
and now i lay here
in this thick red pool
it stared out fun
we were driving along
singing and screaming
our favourite song
it started to rain
so we put up the top
and that was when
he decided to stop
he took out the bag
and poured a little out
and as everyone watched
I started to shout.
"What are you doing?
Put that away!"
but he looked at me blankly
and decided to stay.
He got out the straw
and leaned over the wheel
and once everyone was done
he closed the bag with a seal.
"You're not driving!" I said
as he started the car
then he said
"dont worry, your house isnt far."
He put it in drive
then looked in the mirror
and as he pressed on the gas
Everyone was in fear.
Faster and faster
he started to go
his face was wild
his high starting to show.
the coke was now running
all through his blood
then all of the sudden
there was a big thud.
He slammed on the breaks
and we ran to see what we hit
then the thunder roared
as it continued to spit.
As we got closer
I saw what was there
and there was streaks of blood
all through her blonde hair.
My knees grew weak
and I let out a cry
how could this happen?
she was too young to die.
I looked up at him
"You killed her!" I said,
"you ran over my sister!
and now she's dead!"
My eyes filled with tears
and he stared at me with fright
and nobody else said a word
on this tragic night.
For even if we wanted to,
our lives ended there
a car spun around the corner
not one life did it spare.
His father was driving
his mouth filled with foam
as he ran over all four of us
outside of my home.
I layed with my sister
not older then nine,
and my three other friends
who all did a line.
The air was thin
the night was cold
and now im dead
at 17 years old.
