|
dizzy,
my mind dancing in desire
perfection so painfully out of grasp
dying,
a hungry secret murdering my breaking heart
sleeping for forgiveness
waking up to a surrendered dream
drowning out my swimming soul
faltering in guilt and sweet regret
every fall i hear my own cries deep inside
watching myself slowly die

| great poem, I loved how you placed the first word in the beginning of every stanza. except for the last 3, but those are the best stanzas |

Christina I'm so sorry you experienced this. A very well detailed and expressed poem. I commend you for writing this open and honest write. Keep penning down ur emotions for you have the amazing ability to be able to express yourself so well.
