Different Stages of Love

Everyone starts off as cute,
With holding hands and hugs.
The occasional kiss on the cheek,
And getting the jitterbugs.

Then it moves on to passion,
And you can see it in their eyes.
They can't be separated,
Beyond their own goodbyes.

Sexy is the next stage,
After a couple years.
Where they're always together,
And the pain always clears.

The last stage is the one,
That everyone fears.
The stage of abuse,
It brings on the tears.

These are the four stages of "love",
You only want three.
If you go on to four,
Then please break free.

I like this poem, I can relate. Sadly I relate to all four stages though, but it brings about truth of some relationships. Good Job.
