She Is Woman

Contributed by puppy_dog_eyes on Monday, 14th November 2005 @ 05:53:21 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

She glides against my skin in pale moonlit summer silhouette
Eyes flicker with fire, burn deep into my raging soul
Whispers soft words of entrancement, like bee to sweet nectar
I am swallowed in her kiss, the honey of her lips

Her touch, the warm caress that soothes, banishes all doubt
Relaxes me, I bathe in the hot spring of her loving arms
Become submerged in the river that flows from her fingertips
Wallow in the depth of love, swim in the pool of embrace

As the clock ticks long into the hours of early morning
Two hearts as one beat with every passing second
Time serves merely to mark the growing intensity
Passion poured from a giving heart, received without demand

Finally, intoxicated, eyes close to summon the dark
Dreams roll in like lowland mist as slumber claims its place
When I wake I will still be dreaming as I open up my eyes
Still sleeping, cradled in my arms, she is woman
