Wrath in Red and Black

Contributed by AzurePaladin on Wednesday, 22nd January 2003 @ 09:20:00 PM in AEST
Topic: mythology

Misery....
This deep dark dungeon of
Dread
Fills me, chills me to the
Soul;
My soul's all I have left.
Silence sorrow sensations of
Blissful past
When I was free and knew
That everything was real.
Confusion stirs and
Melts away confidence
Just like emotion.

I have become the demon inside
The white feathered wings
Golden halo
And nothing left to lose.
Though you control my body
My spirit will prevail.
The demon will overcome your own power.

Despite your black mask magic
I See All.
You cannot hide.
Beware The Fire Within.
It Will Be Your Demise.

This site confuses me lol...I find poetry a bit straining to read because every time there's a new line there's a capital letter. Anyway on to the review. I say review not comment cause in my mind Im still on AP lol. Tis' a cool poem its dark, a demon is involved, and you speak of losing your soul, oh and you mention fire at the end. Most everything I like to read about is here and is fantastic. I posted one of my song descriptions btw heh, I sort of take pride that everything that I feel like posting will not be in poem format, makes for easy reading. May the demon be held off by holy sword of power -Nick-
