If there were no You and Me

Contributed by Poetic_Influence on Monday, 14th November 2005 @ 12:22:50 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

An earth with no trees
A lock with no key
Thats how my life would be
If there were no you an me
Down on my knees
Crying like a banshee
Like a static Tv
You look but there is nothing to see
Just a girl all alone
Who cant make it on her own
No one to call on the phone
No happiness shown
A pen with no paper
Bread with no baker
A lost little girl with no one to take her
Alone in the dust
A heart of steel that I watch rust
Having you is a must
Because who else cant I trust
Tears would surround my exsistance
Like a barbwire fence
No way out because I have no defence
Me without you...it just makes no sense
I can't even deal without the arguements...no offense
Our love is just way too intense
I couldnt handle the pain
I couldnt handle the sorrow
I wouldnt be able to maintain
Not today, not next week and not tomorrow
So the tears in my eyes
Are because I could never say goodbye
My love will never die
For it surpasses the skies
God could take me now
And I wouldnt cry
Because I knew I was allowed
To love such a great guy
