The trees twinkle as the soft light of the dying sun glistens on the droplets of water they have caught on their leaves when it rained.
By the stream there is an old gumtree swaying in the warm breeze like slow dancing to the soothing sound of the flowing water beside it.
There is a small bird singing its' bright tinny tune to it's reflection in the silvery pool by the old gum tree.
In the paddock at the end of the forest you can smell the sweet scent of some dainty yellow flowers growing amongst the tall grass.
If you walk along the rough path out of the field you will hear the crashing of the waves breaking on the rocky beach below.
At the edge of a small pond with tiny tadpoles swimming happily in it's water, an ancient willow sighs, it's green fronds whispering in the evening air.
The sun is setting, the moon is eager to claim the sky as it's own, so sit with me until dark, then tomorrow we can frolic again in the lush green forest.

WoW ur daughter has the natural gift of writing. I hope she continues to write. She has so much potential. Goodluck and I do hope she continues to write such beautiful poetry.
