In the beginning
We were just strangers
Passing each other by
Going about our own way
The, one strange day
We bumped into each other
While we were going or ways
And I learned your name
And then, the oddest thing happened
All of a sudden
You were all I could think about
All I wanted to think about
It was all simply complex
Then the next time
We passed each other
You stopped to say “hi”
And I felt my heart jump
And from that point, I was gone
I began to wait everyday
For you to pass me by
And when you would pass
It felt like a little bit of heaven
Then the day came
That you didn’t pass me by
But stopped to talk to me
And that was truly amazing
And from that point, I was yours
Now, I wake in the morning
I live every day
I breathe every breath
Just to talk to you again.
