Dilemma

Topic: SecretLove

Married to one man, in love with another.
The two are so close they could almost be brothers.
Imagine the quandary in this dilemma.
Mistakes could be made that would last forever.
But which possible action would you call mistaken.
The agony of living with a love that's forsaken,
while keeping a family intact?
Everyday hurting as you hide the fact
that your unhappy, lonely and sad?
All the while feeling inherently bad?
Or leaving the man who gave you it all,
and causing his life to crumble and fall?
Shatter the children's illusions of love,
for your affections they'll push and they'll shove.
They won't understand and neither will he,
if you were to say that you had to leave.
And what of the other man, how would he feel,
if he were to realise the flirting was real?
What if he said he felt not the same?
Flirting with women, to him just a game?
How would you feel, where would you go,
after receiving that fatal hearts blow?
But even if he said that he felt the same way?
You'd still have to live with the knowledge each day,
that you'd broken a family, broken a vow,
broken some hearts, would you take a bow?
Life isn't easy, love seems harder still,
when sometimes the heart defies the will.

ouch...I have been in this situation myself and I have to say you wrote about it to a "T" . Love and life just aren't fair sometimes are they? Dilemma is a perfect title for this my friend.
well done
