Gone Forever

Contributed by sprinter27 on Sunday, 13th November 2005 @ 03:37:20 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

You were here with us
And then you’re on the bus
The bus that took you away
So we won’t see you another day

You are gone, gone forever
You were a striver and a fighter
And now you are no longer here
You left us to live alone in fear

You were loved so much
And you had the perfect touch
Got me to laugh when I was young
Taught me how to have a little fun

Our Veteran gone on Veteran’s day
The day was not spent in a fun way
You were ours and you are now gone
Always and forever, you are gone

A very nice dedication for someone, who seemed very special in your life.! We ALL have had, that or still do.!
I like it when ppl take the time to actually get to know ppl, and see they are really neat, because we ALL have something special about, us.!

It's always tough to lose someone who influenced you in such a positive way...They always seem to be the ones we get robbed of too soon too. Nice dedication Sprints...I'm sure he'd be proud of how you turned out as a young adult : )
