The pain of love

My thoughts still linger on memories of you
I cant escape the pain
And the countless nights that we fought through
Are driving me insane

Its probably my fault you broke my heart
I turned yours to stone
though I softened it once, can I again
can I see the love once shown

Back in forth inside my head
race apologies, prayers, and pleas
What can be done for you my love
My soul is but storming seas

You gave up on me like I knew you would
I cant give up on you
I still have faith though it feeds my pain
But at least what I feel is true
