Your hand comes down on me again
I can't feel my body
But I can hear it being hit
And why I don't know
I didn't do anything
If I wasn't so numb
I might cry
Am I really a mistake
If you could
Would you give me away
To someone else
Who could hit me
I doubt I'm worth loving
Can't anyone understand
How lonely I am
My cries for help
Go unseen , unheard
How long can I go on like this
With all the beatings you give me
For things I didn't do
Why am I here in this house
Why can't I get away
As if I don't have enough
Bruises already
Please stop hitting me
My light
Is slowly fading away
Everytime
I feel your hand
on me again
Why don't you love me
What did I do wrong
Why won't you let me be me
I guess i'll never be free.
