the truth about drugs from someone who lived it

Contributed by lostrelic on Friday, 11th November 2005 @ 08:45:13 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

IM sitting in scawler with a pocket full of cash
ALL around faces just fading like ash
BUT not herb why they are here not even the brown sleeping fiend
NO this is one flash of a ex dealers sceame
ONE girl at the table only 19
SHE'S going to die a crack heads worst dream
SITTING beside is my brother in spirit
AND trying to see the true nature to oversee it
DYING her boyfriend sits beside with a dumbwitted stare
ALL he cares is the coke that is spaired
ARE bugs and mice crawling living in despair
FOOLS with coke you hadn't a care
TO see the girl sitting there with a beautiful face
NOT like the drug has affected that place
SEE there"s me at the head the king of this hell
YOU wouldnt belive how hard a fell
WASTING room full of tombstones all glaring threw eyes
I sat up all night and spiritually cried
LEFT that next day i knelt and tossed my crown
YOU my brother you had and stayed to run the town
MY you loved those wicked ways
DEAR the next week while i wasted the drug away
YOU up and died why does it come this way
LEFT remembering those days and the demons that hate
LIFE trying to tell me that was
BUT those demons haunt me with blood curdling screams
YOU walk dead girl tormenting my dreams
ALSO seeing the drug and remembering the man
TOOK life away always on the lamb
MY path i follow that now guides my way
HEART filled i walk never to see that day

Not good for ones who FIND what he did............Why....I wished I could answer.Seems so many find a wrong path. They choose, and continue to go down the path that leads to nothing. Please, do not EVER, go that path.! I did like the write, you posted for the memories.!

What life experiences you have endured. I am assuming your are just young. We cannot choose the paths of others. Sometimes our own paths can be unsure. We can affect those in our paths... You did what you could in your way... I hope you keep a good life path, even if its uncertain, keep it good. ITs harder to do good then to do bad, so it takes alot of work and effort. Gives meaning to your life and others when you have to work to do good. I liked the write. sorry you have seen such evils and pain of drugs and thier environment. A life lesson to journal along your life path.

indeed, I did miss it the first time, although I could see the difference. I re-read this write, and yes, I did see the secret write. Sad, when these kinds of experiences happen. A little bit of you gets taken away every time. Be strong as you will grow more love in time to give again. You cannot choose your family, you can choose your friends. You find the heart grows fonder and stronger, but always will be fragile in spirit.

Very nicely done. I wished I had been more observant the first time.
