Until Then I wait

Contributed by poetic_influence on Friday, 11th November 2005 @ 12:40:51 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I'd tell you how I feel

But I've never been good with words

And I'd be more than happy to reveal

But my voice is so shy that it would never be heard

I'd write you a letter

But the pen would never touch the page

I'd knit you a sweater

But I'm so bad at sewing that I could never engage

I cannot tell you that I love you

Because I have no idea how

Even though its long overdue

I just do not think that I can do it now

You are so perfect

And I..am not

You are so worth it

You make my heart drop

You've never seen me

Because I always hide

But I wait so eagerly

For the day that I can confide what I feel inside

But until then

I wait

For my perfect 10

To be my soulmate

I may not be the prettiest

But I promise you forever

And I may not be the best dressed

But for your love I am very clever

You may not be impressed

And thats ok

For now I'll just wait

And pray

For a love that could be so great

Such a deep and heartfelt write. Beauty comes from the depths of ones heart. I hope you tell this person how you really feel about them. If you don't you'll regret it for a very long time. People should love you for who you are. Not for your looks or dress code, but for what's in your heart. Goodluck and may things work out for you. Otherwise a very well expressed poem. Well done.
*hugs*
