Masochist

Topic: AngryPoetry

Here I idly sit like an idiot
Waiting for an apology that will never come
Stare at the screen
You’re online you *******
Say something
You owe me one
You all do….

I walked home rehearsing the things I should have said
How when I would have explained why I was leaving
I would tell you all what I’ve been going through
How you’ve destroyed my self esteem
Left me on the outside
Looking in with disgust
And maybe some longing…
I think about this monologue
Only to remember
That no one had asked why I was leaving
No one even said goodbye
As they watched me walk out the door
Or maybe they didn’t even notice…

You’re stupid little clique
You all really just want to screw each other
Well I’m not playing that game
I’ll sit and crochet my white mittens
And watch you act like horny school children
Enjoy your tickle fight while it lasts
People like you die alone.

A word of advice

never let others determine the state of your self esteem. I know it's not always easy since we all care what other people think of us or how they treat us.
You dont need anyone else to be you, you are and will always be you in the way only you can be and once you learn to take pride in all of your brilliance and imperfections, you will start to handle those around you much better.

Ash~
