My Love of a Thousand Pains

Contributed by Jane_Doe on Thursday, 10th November 2005 @ 03:19:16 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

A thousand words
All said for you
A thousand tears
All shed for you
A thousand times
I've awaited you
A thousand times
I've hated you

I wanted more than I could grasp
A longing to breathe when I could only gasp
My secret known to all who hear
Hopeless ambition, you my dear

Such horrors stricken, though not drawn blood
Have tried to pluck my blooming bud
But my love remained and did not hide
Scorn and ridicule all aside

Waiting through the hale and snow
I could endure all that the storms would throw
Still the pain that exceeded all the rest
Was the one that grew benieth my breast

A thousand words
All said for you
A thousand tears
All shed for you
A thousand times
I've awaited you
A thousand times
I've hated you

And now you're here

Nice!, I like the way that your mind writes its poetry, there is alot of feeling in this piece and your awasome at expressing it.

Sounds like you have a deep love, although its sort of left and right aimed... do you have a middle balance....expressed emotions never the less.. keep writing, beautiful words as well...

very good poem, the last line was interesting it pulled my mind in two different directions
but isn't that the way of love.
sojourner,
