I Sit Here Thinking About The Past

Contributed by forgottenone_iam on Wednesday, 9th November 2005 @ 11:26:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

I sit here in my room looking out the window, wondering why do I still care its not like you do.
I know that I am nothing to you, I don’t even exist.
I thought I was right about you; those piercing blue eyes in front of me pulled me in
You had that sparkle in your eyes.
When you were leaving my side, I was about ready to cry, you made my heart
Melt to the floor.
You did something I never thought you would; you said you'd do anything
For me, you told me you loved me, was it true.
You said to me don’t change one thing daygirl, you looked at me
I dared not to speak.
Feeling deep inside of me, I was missing you.
I miss the long nights, everything we fought for.
I miss the way you laugh, that gorgeous smile you had.
I miss the way things were.
I miss being with you.
I miss calling you mine.
I miss everything being fine.
I miss all those rough times.
I miss everything we had.
I miss the feeling when you’re near.
I miss you and me.
I miss our relationship.
I miss loving you.
But most of all I miss us being together.
You were the person I though of before I went to sleep.
Your the one that drives me crazy cuz your always on my mind.
I gave you my heart and all my energy, for a year
I never thought of anyone but you.
Now there's a sharp pain in my heart, there’s the lack
Of air in my lungs, but one thing that hurts the most are these words
That has nowhere to go.
But no more do I want my heart to feel shattered.
So there I sit looking out my window tears rolling down my face
Thinking of those fun and not so fun memories.
