but like a rat in a dirty cell

Topic: DarkPoetry

pigeons die and lovers cry nothing new in this fight
people play the games we hate all in the name called love
goverments push and the poor get crushed is this thing alright
armies fall as we build a wall stoping the flight of the dove

questions asked and fortunes past all in the name of eveloution
the fat cats stay fat and the rich get all that all in the name of greed
voices raised and people crave the abilty to cause revelotion
no one hears the soft belly cry as they die in need

pain and death twenty- four hour event all live on there tv
people die and paparazzi try to flash the image for the screen
faded views of colour blue a ear ach to be me
religions stand on the sins of man trying to bring there dream

i question each day i am alive what is this purpose are we hear for a reason or is it just to die
just a pile of thoughts and dust and blue eyes in this haze
watching as my age dwindles away i blow my tears to the sky
but like a rat in a dirty cell i am just running my worldly maze

Reagan a very thought provoking write packed with so much truth within the lines.
You have the amazing ability to be able to express yourself so openly and so well. I like your style of writing. Well done on such a great write.

good point.i often wonder what the heck we are all here for. with life and its ever so long disputes with happieness we all tend to choose a path more frequetly travled. good flow and great thought.

awesome write!! wow, i really liked that. and i like how well you wrote it and got the point across. you sound a lot like me last year. but, maybe the reason isn't just to die. maybe you are to invent something. or you make some person very happy one day. and you actually fall in love or something. i know it sounds crazy, but it could happen! just don't go through life thinking that you are just living to die. look at some things with a positive attitude sometimes. it might help with your look on things. sorry, i know i must sound annoying. but just try occasionally.

well, it was a terrific write and i really enjoyed reading it, so keep up the good work!!
