Gaze not upon this
Torn and broken body
With eyes too old
For the child's face.
Eyes that have seen
To much to understand
Scarred and grey
Withering away.
Hidden in her mind
She waits without
The light, her eternal darkness
Her sanctuary.
No words
No sound
A small place to stay
Withering away.
No sympathy for those
Who have cut her
So deep, only sorrow
In her small retreat.
The only place she can reside
As she slowly becomes lost
With eyes of grey
Withering away

This is a well written, sad poem. Line 2 of the second stanza should begin with 'Too' for the grammer to be correct, but everything else is perfect. Well done.
