my cue

Contributed by SmileSkinDeep on Wednesday, 9th November 2005 @ 06:18:27 PM in AEST
Topic: self-harmpoetry

crying in the
silence
wating for my cue
waitng for something to make sense

where i sit
light flickers on the wall
a single candle lit

the sharp pain on my wrists
slowly getting stronger
i want to finish
and yet i wait longer

blood hits the floor
my soul stained and sore
"dont stop now"
the blade goes deeper
my pain tore through the silence

the candle fades
mascara runs
nothing made sense
my cue is yet to come

keep posting. writing is another way to slit your wrists and to me it has proved more satisfying. With time you will grow a skilled dominance over your emotions and release a hidden accuracy in portraying those caged demons.
