anguished

No matter how my life has changed
You always seem there to haunt it
You linger in the dark corners
Where my eyes they do not see
You know I am always there
I don't pretend to hide from you
I just want to keep living my life
There is still so much more
You want from me
That I am unwilling to give
You keep trying to persuade me
But I still remain ever vigilant
Unflinching and unchanged

to me- a presumptious person today- this write seems extremely religious. i hate playing the religion card but when you speak of omnipresence not through memory it makes me thing of a higher power. If you believe in God just give it to Him. whatever you are holding onto is worthless-regardless. what does anything amount to in the end? we are what we purchase-hollow satsifaction.
~here i am kneeling forever between repentance and rebellion. kneeling forever between fragile and broken. between choices and choosing... i'm losing. IF HEAVEN WEEPS IT NEVER CEASES IN MY NAME~weepingprophet |

Deep, and true. I'm glad you aren't giving in, stay strong, and keep writing.
