I try not to listen to voices in the wind,
My vows they want me to break, my oath to recind.
I don't trust the urges from my heart,
If I'm not sinning, they are telling me to start.
Oh Lord carry me today,
Carry me as I fail You,
Carry me as I be untrue,
Oh Lord please carry me no matter what I say!
I try not to fall to the pressure of the world,
My soul it would destroy, to make me lust after that girl.
I don't trust the urges from my heart,
If I'm not sinning, they are telling em to start.
Oh Lord carry me today,
Carry me as I fail you,
Carry me as I be untrue,
Oh Lord please cary me no matter what I say!
Just carry me today.
