square tiles on the kitchen floor..
try to balance along the cracks...
perceptions of how this life will go...
difficult to walk a straight line...
careful when walking the side walk,
"step on a crack, break your mothers back"
hop scotch boards drawn in chalk
these visions must be a mistake..
capture the flag and tag...
you're it...
run run as fast as you can
lessons of the life to come...
skined up knees to prepare the eyes
for the crocadile tears that follow...
