Let me peacefully drift..
To remain undone for a time
That I may savor alas my gift
Even till I hear that last sounding chime
Echoing a word of “Goodnight”
And say to them to dream
Bask solemnly there, in eternities light
That even tears of dew gleam
But finally, let me feel heaven sigh
As angels dance beneath my feet
Then take my hand and teach my spirit to fly
But let me sleep, so then my dreams will be complete…
