Only if we could be together
I would love you forever
This distance I knew was too far apart
Thats most likely the reason its tearing up my heart
I would give anything to hold you
and wish your love for me could renew
You've always been there for me
You're the one I will always pursue
Ever since I had sat next to you
At the party were my curiousity grew
There our relationship begun
And I knew you were the one
I didn't talk to you all summer
Which was a real bummer
I walked by your house a lot
Because I forgot the spot
Then came halloween
Our love seemed to be forseen
Then we were together
And I wanted it forever
Then the day I told you I loved you
Was one of the hardest things to do
I was so afraid of falling in love it was sad
That's because I always heard that it hurts real bad
We were together every day
From everything we felt so far away
We had such an amazing time
Our love was so sublime
Then one day I had to move
Our love we would really have to prove
While I was gone I was always mad
Because were I was it was really bad
Then I came down to see you
Because there was a dance
As I thought we were getting closer
You thought we were falling apart
When I fell for you all over again
You were keeping me away from your heart.
We had always been fighting on the phone
Because I seemed to feel always alone
That was my biggest mistake
So you said we needed to take a break
How can this happen to me
I didn't even see it coming
You had a fake face on
After all the kisses and hugging
So love really does hurt
I wish your love could revert
And now I have to wait and see
If that one day we could be
You have always been there fo me
And this I can guarantee
You're my best friend
I will love you to the end

| A beautiful write on the dirty little word they call love. It hurts so many, yet through that hurt it sometimes makes us stronger.I believe, that most things happen for a reason, sometimes that reason isn't clear at first, but should show itself eventually. Take the time to heal the wounds in your heart. I hope that you share this with the one it was wrote for, the picture was a really nice touch. *smiles* |

love does hurt, but it can also be the most wonderful feeling in the world. this poem expresses so much and is an excellent piece of work. It really touched me and made me think of the love of my life .. he is a amazing guy but we're nearly lost sight of the way we feel but after a break we're stronger than ever. take time to look after yourself and find what makes you happy again ...
