The Phone Call

Contributed by Whisper on Monday, 7th November 2005 @ 08:48:44 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

The phone had a message blinking
She thought Just another Call

The voice of that far away Lighthouse
Now only shadows and forbidden
has risen.
She swore never
will it be
spoken of again

The familar sound of that tang
That gentle boyish charm
How her Heart has ached
She could hardly speak.

Hard was her heart racing
Thinking about those tortured
forgotten shadows again.

But this was not forever
Of this she well knew .

But oh how Wonderful
To feel the blood begin to flow within
Like a healing power
with just the power of his voice.

Two of a kind by
Satans Command

What felt like forever
had left her dead inside
Then with just one Phone Call
She was born again.

Whisper

Woah, powerful and emotional, yet so simple at the same time. Very very good.

Great write-
Love has a way of making someone lost feel
found and has a way of stiring things up that have been dorment for so long a time-
All it takes is a whisper of air or a gentle sound to remind us of a better and more senuious time...
Take care
Joe

Aint it amazing how something like this can bring back all those lost memories.

I wanna know, did they come back before or after listening to the message, the poem dont say.

This was a great write, I coulndt wait to get to the end, and when I got there, I didnt want it to end

Loved it

I've known those moments of anxiously waiting for that certain phone call and you did a great job at conveying it.

Thanks
