I finally found someone
I was lost caught in a storm
Thought my life was at an end
Misery to me was the norm
Then you came along my friend
You picked me up when I was down
I was lost in a stormy sea
Without you I would have drown
But you came and rescued me
I’d finally found someone
My heart it had started to melt
Loneliness had been and gone
A fresh new hand I’d been dealt
Fate had given me a second chance
My life had been turned around
Can this friendship turn to romance?
Had love for me been found
Though cloudy skies were up above
Inside me the sun it shone
It filled my heart with so much love
On the day I found someone

Poetry wrote from experienced feelings seem to have this glow about them - a feeling. Makes you happy to realize it's out there. Amazing write, definitely a pleasure reading. Well done, the both of you, I hope to see more soon.

Oh I am so very happy, both of you write so well together, so happy this poem is because the skies are opening up, bluer skies, lovely happy souls, no more sadness, this is a peaceful write...friends are important, keep up the wonderful and beautiful co-writes both of you, God Bless...Both...S..N..E..sitting in a tree, S fell down, and so did E lol...hope it makes you laugh now... me so silly girl...

Very beautifully written. What more could i say?
The rhyme and timing brought simple emphasis to
the sentiments in every stanza. My favourite stanza:
You picked me up when I was down
I was lost in a stormy sea
Without you I would have drown
But you came and rescued me
Very sweet and endearing... great collaboration too!
