I hate it when you drink
You become mean and violent
I hate the person you become
You turn stupid and ugly
When you're drunk
You are not the person I fell in love with
You are somebody else
You are a stranger to me
I hate the decisions you make
From the whiskey that you drink
I hate the person I become
When I have to fight you
From trying to be reckless
To keep you and others safe
Even though it is the right thing to do
Your whiskey its a vile drink
with all the trouble that it causes

lol sorry for the laugh but i also know that monster all to well and always brings the worst in me out (drinks rum now more loveie)

| well speaking from a person who deals with a person like that every day, they most likely wont ever change, so are they worth it? as for the poem, very straighforward. doesnt really have any emotion to it because of that, but i think its a fine poem all in all. |

I know what you mean. My father is a chronic alcoholic. He's like this almost every night. I understand compleatly how you feel.
