ATTORNEY'S

I once had to see an attorney,
Though I’d been warned by my friends.
I thought he was there to help me.
But he shoved it to me in the end.
They make up the body of Congress.
No wonder they can’t get things done.
Just watch how they bicker and swagger.
To shoot them all would be such fun.
I’m talking to you of attorneys.
The bottom line is their stiff bill.
They do it for money or power.
So the cash over flows in their tills.
If you ever get a chance to observe one
Take off his coat, thick or thin.
Don’t be confused when you see this,
For under that coat is snake skin.
On Capitol Hill they stutter.
It seems that they can’t pass a bill.
There may be one or two good ones.
But the rest you would much rather kill.
If you see one come walking close by you,
You’d better go reach for a rake.
And keep him at more than just arms length.
For remember he’s probably a snake.

I thank you for your comment and just to let you
know that I am a retired law enforcement officer.
So I, over time developed a distrust of attorney's
when I saw how unscrupulous the majority of them were.
Almost as if the moment they passed their bar exams
they threw their morality in a dumpster.

Not all are snakes. I just wish my husband was not so generous. I pray I can spend more time with him. Have faith, there are some wonderful loving attorney's out there, I know one good one...
