Tell me a secret

Contributed by patti on Saturday, 5th November 2005 @ 08:49:21 PM in AEST
Topic: secrets

Is there something hidden between those eyes
Something kept in secrecy
For your wicked pleasure or the suffrage of my being
Can you tell me a secret
No matter the pain
No matter the humiliation it might bring
Something hidden is nothing of value if its not told or known
Tell me a secret
It will bring some understanding of your meaning

Your eyes seem blind
Is it
That you do not value me?
Do you not care for me?
Do you cherish me?

I do not hold a secret because I am of meaning
I dare not put myself in that situation
Because
I do value you
I do care for you
I do cherish you
No secret of that matter
Tell me a secret
Maybe you will see that no matter what I might think or feel
I promise you
That secret will be between you and me
Tell me a secret

You know life is full of surprises
Maybe surprised you
By my bitter sweet reaction of that secret
It might be a surprise
To me

I whish I could understand
Without retrieving some knowledge from your hurt some heart
I hold no secret against you
I am of meaning
Show me
Tell me your secret
Maybe my bitter sweet reaction might bring some meaning
To your life
Don’t think twice
Tell me a secret

This one kind of whispers in my ear, like pillow talk.
