They were drunk,
In the car,
After a party,
One night.
Didn’t see the truck,
BAM!
The car was crashed
Everyone died that night.
Soon they were standing,
By those pearly gates,
Being called
For their judgment.
They all were dragged away,
They didn’t want to know Christ.
Soon, there were two left.
Sarah, and Seth.
The angel said,
“Sarah, you’re a Christian,
I know that full well,
You can go ahead.”
Seth stepped up,
While Sarah watched
“You’ll find my name on that list.”
“You’re not here,” The angel said.
“WHAT!” Seth cried.
“I go to church. I did good things.
Sure I made mistakes,
What do you mean ‘not here’?”
The angel replied,
“For it is by God’s Grace
That we are saved.
Not by works, so no one can boast.
His eyes turned to Sarah,
“You knew didn’t you?
How could you do this to me?”
Sarah just looked away.
As the guards dragged him away,
He looked back and cried
“YOU KNEW. WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME?
WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME?”
“I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU WOULDN’T TELL ME.
I HAD TO BE SAVED?
I DIDN’T KNOW.
HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN TO ME?”
“HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?
YOU DIDN’T TELL ME.
WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME?
HOW COULD YOU LET ME DIE?"
