A Mirrors Gaze

Each night I stand looking at myself in the mirror. Searching my heart for the things I deeply fear. I’m so young, yet I see through the mirage and I see how thing in life really appear.
As I travel through my heart’s deepest passages, I laugh at all of life’s lavishness. How hard man does work for these mirages, fine wine, women, and sensual massages.
I thought I understood people. The moments in time when I most needed them, they left me while I was most feeble. My heart speaks and asks whom can I trust? Do I lead my life alone, or simply look and lust.
Standing over the sink, looking into the mirror my eyes do not blink. Yearning to take me all in, I begin to cry due to all of my sin. Like a sack upon my back, like shackles around my neck, I simply feel like a shipwreck.
I turn my head to the right, and my mirrors image turns his head to the left. Nothing I do in this life coincides with Him who lives in me and abides. So I step out of my mirrors gaze, and walk into life’s gray haze.

It is a nice poem.I really enjoied reading it.I don't know what to say.Those are your feelings about this world we all live in and i can't comment on feelings.But keep writing couse i'll keep reading and commenting
