Heros Still Sleep

Contributed by greyshadow on Friday, 4th November 2005 @ 01:39:28 AM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Dying to be a hero in my sleep
Walking down this lonely street
Living to find a reason for my dreams
Listening for these silent screams

Wanting more than empty spaces
Hiding in unlikely places
Filling me with mindless doubt
Fearing time will bring it out

Hidding in this twisted story
Thoughts of dreams full of glory
Behind a face of lies deceit
The whole world lies at my feet

Given the chance to change it all
I'd brace myself before the fall
But if I could change just one thing
I'd wake up from this broken dream

Not me, I am staying asleep in my dreams, wake me up only if it is true, otherwise, this is where I stay:>
