It’s hard to say
Whether things will last
Planned for the future
Remembered from the past
I know one thing for sure
It’s that this won’t end
I believe in you
And your hip new trend
I don’t know how it got this way
But I know that it’s all right.
After being with you
My smiles seem so bright
You’re an excellent friend
And I’m a good fellow
I wish I could have written
