Days go by and by
And still your memories haunt me
They taunt me
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you
Don’t know why
Loved you from the moment I laid my eyes on you
I really did
It’s hard for me to sleep at night
But I do
Why are your memories attached to me
Won’t let go
Can’t help but wonder was it something I did
Maybe said
Was I just a small part of your life which you don’t care bout
Not anymore
Was I really nothing to you that can be forgotten
I wonder
Keep on thinking was there something that could be done
Highly doubt
You left me without any reasons
No reason
What I want to know is am I just your memory and nothing more
I am

Memories can be so painful...instead of missing what you no longer have, be greatful for the time you had it. That has helped me. |
