The Play Pen

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Wednesday, 2nd November 2005 @ 08:29:36 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Cowboys and Indians
Id rather play doctor with you
Lego built pyramids
Id rather lay in Barbie’s bed with you
Getting high from the smoke of the easy-bake-oven
Sniffin’ on a tube of Elemr’s white glue
Stuck together-
Stark naked is how I want to see you

Hope on my Big-Wheel
I wanna’ take you for a ride
To the other side of the moon
Where a secret stash of goodies loom
In the bag, of trash, strung tight with a thick rope
There is a gift waiting for you in a sealed envelope
So go ahead and take a look inside
You might be surprised at what you find
Its simple and cheap
But it makes the pen complete

It’s a confession
Outlining all the secrets that I keep

Hmmm...I wish I could throw half my secrets in the trash too....that's where they belong!! I had to laugh at that 'hop on my big wheel' bit...cute...Well, this is certainly an interesting take on the subject, for sure! It's almost scary what goes on in that creative mind of yours, at times. I can never resist the spillage that comes from it though : )

Scorp.
(Pointing out how 100% wrong you were in your last comment on my work...but thanks a ton for thinking I was some sort of hoe! Geesh...talk about not knowing someone...)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
