I can't make you happy, I've tried for so long. But in pleasing you both I'll always be wrong. I took everything I wanted and put it away, just to make you smile for simply one day. I only wanted you happy, I made it my life. But it was all a lost cause, something that could never be right. You fought so much, what did you expect, that I could go around and smile just like the rest? I couldn't simply be like them, I couldn't follow the carefree trend. I made them all think everything was fine, but the walls did their job and hid what went on inside. In being what you wanted I soon lost myself. But finally my true feelings are being taken off the shelf.
