More Than a Falling Potted Plant

Contributed by chibimiroku on Tuesday, 1st November 2005 @ 11:37:24 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

It hit me like a ton of bricks.
There was no way of to choose;
My brain and I were playing pick-up sticks
And my brain was abotu to lose.

I have achieved so much
But I've also lost it all;
With a sudden implosion of wisdom
My erudite tower began to fall.

Inscrutable, Impenetrable,
Was the masive wall before me
Unyielding, Undeniable
Was the thrust of the force behind me.

Floating in a shifting rainbow
Of lights, colors, sounds and waves,
Apollo's arrow brings me absurdly low,
For none of my knowledge could I save.

I dont comprehend anything anymore
Shut to me now, is Knowledge's door;
All I once knew, I now abhor;
I'm playing the game of my life
And I don't even know the score.
Nothing mattered so much before...
Nothing, until into my life, Reality tore.

I loved the ending.

(The rest wasn't at all bad either)
