Hearts that are broken

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Tuesday, 1st November 2005 @ 10:23:03 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

A broken heart is painful to bare,
ripping out of your soul,
No one else will seem to care,
that you feel left unhole,
Crying so hard your heart achs,
the pain is so intense to show,,
that your whole body starts to shake,
and you want to just let go,
Your heart ripping out from inside of you,
like being stabbed & left to bleed,
wishing the heart ach will break through,
not really knowing what you need,
thinking nothing good will come of this,
but getting the pain out,
wishing someone to share in your bliss,
so you just want to scream & shout,
Your hearts torn in two,
going nowhere fast,
what can you do,
to make this pass?
Cry ,till you can't any more,
tomorrows a new day,
God gives you another door,
so try to pray,
& cry some more!

Christina your words are ever so true. A great write outlining the pain and suffering one goes through when their heart is broken. Well done.
*hugs*

Oh Chrissy this is so true. You are so blessed if you can cry like this. Cleanses the soul, and the next day you feel like brand new!
What a beautiful helpful poem. I've never been able to cry like this, I was not allowed to cry as a child and so I can cry, but never enough.
Loved this poem,
Warm love
