My mind has become a battleground
Fighting for my sanity
Losing with each passing second
I’m looking for the key
To unlock the chains that hold me
The images look so real
Remembering the nights of you
The words you spoke to me
As you broke my will to live
But now in this epic battle for life
I have come to realize
You are the one I long to love me
But know you never will
